Taco Trucks!

7th grade math students created and designed their own taco truck, to include a business name, logo, and slogan. Hours of operation, detailed menus with designer tacos and platter options including prices. Students calculated orders from classmates and staff based on their menu prices. Finally, students created a blueprint for an actual truck and created a paper 3D version of their truck with accurate measurements of each truck component.​ As an extension for the taco truck unit, Ms. Spinney’s math students took a field trip to the Bangor Waterfront to visit the food trucks for lunch and to talk with food truck business owners about their food trucks!!
