Happenings in The Batcave and Beyond

8th grade students have been learning more about chemical reactions, we had some fun with chemical reaction boats! Students worked to make sure their design was functional with some basic supplies and then experimented to make chemical reactions to make their boats move! 

Cross Country has ended but I want to take a moment to thank my runners for a great season and I also want to thank parents and family members for their support throughout the season!! 

Our Civil Rights Team had our training last week and I am incredibly proud of our team and all the plans they have thought of to make sure everyone who walks into VCS knows they are welcome and safe no matter their race and skin color, national origin and ancestry, disabilities, gender (including gender identity and expression), and sexual orientation. 

We had so much fun at the Halloween Hullabaloo!!!

Thank you to those who donated candy and a BIG thank you to our PTO for helping to coordinate this awesome event for our kids and community!! Given how everyone was feeling due to the power outage, it was the perfect way to lift our spirits!
